Pawn Transactions
Pawn loans are secured by the item you pledge. They're subject to Connecticut law, our store policies, and the written pawn agreement you receive at the time of the transaction.
Interest and Fees
Maximum APR: averages 20%, interest and fees included. Interest is 20% per month. The remaining charges cover the memorandum fee, processing and recording of the transaction, and any insurance or appraisal of the pledged property, as set out in Section 21-42a of the Connecticut General Statutes.
Loan Term and Charges
Pawn loans are based on a 30-day agreement. You can extend your loan by paying the service charge (finance charge). Your loan amount, charges and due date are shown on your pawn ticket before you sign.
Redemption
To get your item back, return before the end of your loan term and pay the amount due under your agreement. If you don't redeem or renew, you may lose the item, as allowed by Connecticut law.
Identification
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all pawn and purchase transactions. We may ask for more information to meet state reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
